The League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2025) will take place in China, the start is set for October 14th.
The cities which will host the League of Legends World Championship are:
- Play-ins and Swiss stage – Beijing Smart Esports Center, Beijing
- Quarterfinals & Semifinals – Mercedes-Benz Arena, Shanghai
- Finals – Dong’an Lake Sports Park Multifunctional Gymnasium, Chengdu

Worlds 2025: Format
Play-in and Swiss Stage
The 4th Seeds of LCK and LPL ( T1 vs IG) will fight for a Swiss Stage Spot on the 14th of October at 10:00 AM CET.
They will play a Fearless Bo5 Series, the winner advances, the loser is out of the tournament.
For the Swiss Stage we will have 5 rounds, the teams that achieve 3 wins are qualified for the playoff bracket, who gets 3 losses is out.
Every game will be played as Bo1, except the Qualification and Elimination matches which will be Bo3.
Playoff Bracket
The best 8 teams will compete in a Knockout stage made of Single Elimination matches, every game will be played under the Fearless Bo5 Format.
All the teams who made it out of the Swiss Stage with a 3-0 score will play against who made it out with a 3-2 score.
The other teams will be paired in the other two matchups.
