Macko Esports arrived to this Stage 2 after a “Decent” Stage 1 appearance in the EML.
The Italian roster didn’t manage to qualify for the EWC despite showing some good results against teams like Falcons and BDS.
Some changes for this Stage 2
Some days before the start of the Stage, Macko announced the departure of the Head Coach Riccardo “Hybrid” Font 🇮🇹 and the player Ian “Ghostriddik” Bogo 🇮🇹 .
The next chapter of our journey comes with some changes.

Today we bid farewell to @Hybrid12IC and @Ghost_R6s, who will no longer be part of the Macko Esports roster.
With them, we’ve shared important moments: defeats, LAN events, the T2 Grand Finals victory and the EML🏆

To replace them, Macko decided to pick up:
- Riccardo “RaiDeN” Antoni 🇮🇹 as IGL.
- Enrico “Riico” Sek 🇮🇹 as Head Coach.
In addition to them, some other addicitions where made to the roster in order to increase the competitiveness of the team:
- Riccardo “Rharesh” Tata 🇮🇹 as Performance Coach.
- Gianluca “Giann” Fusco 🇮🇹 as Analyst.
Rharesh is a legendary Italian League of Legends player and Coach who has been part of scene for a lot of years.
During his career with Macko he managed to secure a Top 8 Emea Masters placement in Summer 2024.

Stage 2 of the EML is coming and we’re ready to step up, aim higher, and chase… pic.twitter.com/eejKTFmnpP
The expectation where higher than for the Stage 1 thanks to the additions made to the roster, but the first week didn’t go as expected.
MCK vs Falcons – Day 1
Nothing to do for Macko, it looked Falcons have returned to their prime for the first day of the stage.
Mostly the French duo of Stéphane “Shaiiko” Lebleu and Theo “LikEfac” Mariano stole the show during with respectively a KD of 16-3 and 10-6.
The French Superstar absolutely popped off, Shaiiko looked unstoppable during this match as he managed to finish with a KOST of 89 and a 67% survival rate.
Great performance for the Saudi organization who managed to bounce back after a very disappointing EWC performance where they got knocked out on the first day of competition.
The only bright spot for Macko in the entire game was the 1v2 clutch by their new entry, RaideN, which brought the Italian team to a 4-2 score.
Fnatic vs MCK – Day 2
After a bad Stage 1, FNATIC came back stronger for this second stage with a single change, CroqSon replaced Gruby.
Macko found a good start in defence as they managed to finish the first half of the match on the 3-3, but in attack the story was completly different.
Samuel “Wizard” Morgan 🇬🇧 absolutly popped off during the match as he managed to end the game with a 15-6 KD and an 80% KOST.
Not a lot of good stuff from Macko during this game, only Lollo manged to find a good performance but, his team was not on the same page.
