Not even Colossal and ZENA were able to advance, the run of the Italian teams at the EMEA Masters is officially over.
Despite the delusional results from both teams we can’t not be proud of their season, both of them tried to represent our country at the best of their capabilities.
The only Italian Victory
It was the reigning champions who managed to gift our country a win at this EMEA Masters.
Despite not being the cleanest of the victories, the match against Gamespace was the only one which brought the Italian fans some joy.
A victory that could only come thanks to the famous counterpick of Mordekaiser against Sion from Archfiend, which has now confirmed himself as a master of the matchup.
However, between ups and downs, between some questionable teamfight executions and much more, Inzuh still managed to put the balls on the Greek team’s heads with his Syndra.
The rest of ZENA’s journey
Difficult matches for the Genoese team who found themselves playing against incredibly strong opponents such as:
- Bushido Wildcats: The Second Turkish Seed, a clearly insane team who has players that are totally on another level like Peach ( LEC ) and Zest ( LCKCL ).§
Despite the almost impossible matchup our guys still managed to get some good plays, mainly thanks to the Metroflox + Inzuh couple. - Verdant: The Second Seed of the NLC, also here we are speaking about a team who can count on Ex-LEC players like Sencux and Tore.
This was a much more painful game for ZENA, our guys never managed to join the game. - FMS: Maybe this was the easiest matchup of the whole tournament but unluckily the macro difference here was clear.
The biggest problem of the game was that Pericolo wasn’t able to follow the game pace as he got caught out of position a lot of times on his Varus. - Entropiq: Our killers, the Hitpoint masters squad managed to take down both Colossal and ZENA.
They were the ones to end the Genoese team split with a clean 2-0 win in the final Bo3 match.
We could have given more, this experience will help us grow even more.

Colossal’s Journey
Colossal Gaming unluckily had terrible draws for all the Tournament as they had to face with:
- ROSSMAN Centaurus: Third Seed of the Prime League but surely the most impressive one.
A team made with a lot of rookies, they managed to find a lot of dominant performances which allowed them to qualify for the final phase of the tournament. - GiantX: The name speaks alone, first seed of the LVP , after they threw the first game they unluckily got drawn into our team.
- Entropiq: Here are the Italian slayers, a squad made of players like Denyk and Robocop who played this competition a lot of times.
- USE: They ended both GMBLERS and Colossal runs.
The 4th seed of the Prime League, the region looks very strong this year.
