They tried, both GMBLERS and aNc carried the Italian flag to Europe with pride and hope.

We can only be proud of our two teams who have given their all since the start of the Summer Split.

Unfortunately the result was what it was, nothing surprising, we all knew it was going to be very difficult.

The Path of aNc

Certainly not an easy draw for our beloved team of streamers.

An early match against Nightbirds that seemed to be feasible days before the tournament began, however the Hitpoint Masters team came more than prepeared for this tournament.

A truly tragic game 1 for the aNc who got crushed already in the draft phase, the only one to survive is Deidara who piloted an excellent Ambessa despite being in counter matchup against Renekton.

Game 2 had its ups and downs, certainly more combative than the first, but in any case the commitment of the aNc was not enough.

Strode’s Varus seemed impregnable, a damage machine literally, thanks also to Fragola visible disconnection from the rest of the team.

Nightbrids who, after defeating aNc 2-0, also managed to snatch a game from the Vitality Bee, the 4° Seed of the LFL.

Let’s take all the positive things possible from this series, despite the defeat, aNc have succeeded in what many had not managed to do in the past.

Bringing the fans closer to the competitive scene.

Even though the result was not the best, the community rallied around them, complimenting the team about their journey , and this is the most important thing.

We just have to hope that this affection will also be shown to the other teams.

ZENA, GMBLERS and Colossal, like aNc, deserve to be followed and supported by cour community.

The Path of GMBLERS

GMBLERS came out from this EMEA Masters with their heads held high, our boys managed to bring home a good victory against Team Insidious (HLL #3 ).

Obviously the bracket was extremely difficult for them, they found themselves playing a Bo5 against the Unicorns Of Love (PRM #4 ).

GMB vs IN5 : 2 – 1

Not a very easy series but not even hard-fought , it was all very linear on the GMBLERS side except for the choke in the second game.

It is now worth underlining Crem’s usual clean and convincing performance, the ADC with Smolder is just a sentence.

In the third game, however, it was pure macro diff, although the kills almost all ended up in the hands of the IN5, GMBLERS were always ahead on the map.

All this was possible mainly thanks to an immense Bambi7 who with his Dr. Mundo seemed to be immortal.

USE vs GMB : 3 – 0

Here the story changed completely, there are very few, if not 0 good things to take home from this series.

The German team was visibly infirm, in all aspects, and Kikis‘ red buf delivery at the beginning of Game 1 certainly did not benefit our boys’ mental.

Domination , devastation , massacre by Simpli’s Viktor in the first game, a war machine that overwhelmed GMBLERS.

Game 2 was definitly more contested than the first one, with USE definitely pulling the strings too much in some situations during teamfights.

However DevVoksne shone with his Kai’Sa not allowing te GMBLERS to recover the match.

Little to say about the third match, the boys almost stopped trying, the level disparity was truly excessive.

The Words of the GMBLERS Former Manager “Beceppece”

First of all I would like to thank everyone I have had the pleasure of working with in recent months, from team members to owners and those who orbit around GMBLERS Esports, I would also like to thank the fans who supported us during the championship and in EMEA Masters.

What can I say about this split, it was a roller coaster of emotions and performances, embellished by the Montecatini LAN which allowed me to get to know both the other professionals and the public better, associating faces with many people who until a few days before I used to recognize it through a nickname or profile photo.

The final result of the competition left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, on the other hand no one likes losing, I’m especially sorry for the players who we couldn’t bring with us due to the timing of obtaining the visa, but I’m convinced that everything possible has been done by everyone.

I send my heartfelt compliments for the convincing victory to Zena Esport and its members, to whom, together with Colossal Gaming, I wish them good luck in view of the start of their adventure at the main event of the EMEA Masters

The Main Event

ZENA and Colossal Gaming will therefore represent us in the Main Event of the tournament, let’s find out who their opponents will be :

  • Colossal Gaming vs ROSSMANN Centaurus (PRM 3 )

After seeing the overflowing strength of USE we can only be scared from the third seed of the German league.

  • ZENA Esports vs Bushido Wildcats (TCL 2 )

If the match of Colossals is hard, this one certainly doesn’t joke (indeed ),the Turkish second seed (very slightly) has 2 Korean imports who played between LCK and LEC (Zest and Peach ) respectively in Toplane and Jungle.

It will take a lot of courage and inventiveness from both our teams to try to take home a match on this first day of main stage.

Galius’s Words, CEO of Colossal Gaming

How do you see the team these days before the main stage? Did the defeat in the final serve to strengthen the team or was it a bad blow for them?

CG Galius: The defeat in the final certainly served as a reality check, we had taken it lightly and this certainly influenced the final result.

After this event, the boys began to do their utmost to do the best run possible in EMEA

Predictions on the first game?

CG Galius: I’m the most superstitious person on the face of the planet, I limit myself to no comment ahahahha
